Cooperative Engineering Opportunities

Internships and Co-ops have become a vital aspect of college education.  Personal experience with bridge inspections, structural design and forensic engineering can greatly improve a students understanding and performance in advanced engineering programs and enhance their opportunities for career placement.

POSITION AVAILABLE:

BRIDGE SAFETY INSPECTOR

The position requires a certificate of completion of the NHI two-week course on Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges or NICET certification as Level III or IV as a Bridge Safety Inspector. In addition the 

1)      Bridge Inspection Team Leader needs a minimum of five years (seven years if not a PE) experience in bridge inspection assignments; and

2)      Bridge Inspection Assistant needs a minimum of one year experience in bridge inspection assignments.

 The position requires at least 50% traveling throughout Texas and good physical condition to climb up and down of bridge structures. The position is a fulltime position at our office in San Antonio, TX. No subcontracting available.
